Brandon Carnes enters his first season on the Panther coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. Carnes graduated from UNI in December of 2017, after a sensational track and field career with the Panthers.
Carnes won 16 MVC titles, while going undefeated at the league indoor and outdoor championships. He was a four-time indoor 60 and 200-meter dash winner, while also taking four 100 and 200-meter dash titles to become the first athlete in MVC history to accomplish the feat.
The Bradenton, Fla., native was also named MVC Most Outstanding Male Track Athlete five times (three outdoor, two indoor) and the MVC Most Valuable Athlete twice (one outdoor, one indoor).
