2018-19 INDOOR SEASON: Finished fourth at the Jack Jennett Open in the WT with a distance of 16.53m.
2018 OUTDOOR: Took 2nd in the discus throw at the Gibson Invitational (4/6) with a score of 47.29m … Competed in discus throw at the Musco Twilight (4/12), Tom Botts Invite (4/20) and Drake Relays (4/25) … Earned a PR of 45.40m and 2nd place finish in the javelin throw at the Wisconsin Twilight (5/4) … Competed in discus and javelin at the MVC Championships (5/11).
2018 INDOOR: Competed in the Cyclone Duals (12/8), Panther Open (1/13) and Mark Messersmith Invite (1/27).
2017 INDOOR: Participated in the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (1/20) placing 5th in the weight throw...Took 1st place in the weight throw at the Jack Jennett Open (1/26) with a throw of 53’5”...Finished 7th in the weight throw at the Mark Messersmith Invitational (1/28)... Participated in the MVC Indoor Championships (2/25) placing 7th in the weight throw with a throw of 55’5”.2017 OUTDOOR: Placed 3rd in the discus at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/25) with a throw of 155’7”...Threw the discus 162’9” for 1st place at the Wartburg Outdoor Classic (3/31) and took 2nd in the javelin throw with a throw of 113’5” and placed 4th in the hammer throw with a throw of 162’9”...Placed 3rd in the javelin throw at the Tom Botts Invitational (4/14) with a throw of 124’4”...Participated in the Drake Relays (4/26) placing 5th in the discus with a throw of 155’4”...Took part in the MVC Outdoor Championships (5/12), taking 7th in the javelin...Participated in the NCAA Division I West Prelim Round in the discus.
2016: INDOOR: Had a personal-best mark in the weight throw of 49-3.00 at the MVC Championships (2/27) … placed fourth at the Jack Jennett Invitational (1/29) in the weight throw, going for a mark of 47-8.00 … claimed a top-five finish at the Panther Open (1/16).
2016: OUTDOOR: Recorded a personal-best in the discus throw at the Wisconsin Twilight (5/6), placing in the top-10 with a mark of 152-8.00 … placed third in the discus at the Tom Botts Invitational (4/15) with a mark of 152-5.00 … had a PR in the hammer throw at the Husker Spring Invitational (4/9), grabbing a mark of 156-11.00 … named to the MVC Honor Roll.
High School: Lettered in track and field at Dubuque Hempstead High School … was a three-time state track participant in the shot put and discus … was the state runner-up in the discus … three-time Drake Relays qualifier and medalist in the discus … earned all-conference in track three consecutive seasons … holds the school record in the discus throw … also lettered in softball, earning all-conference in 2013 and 2014 … was a letter winner in volleyball and basketball as well.
Personal: Daughter of Ken and Marie … has two siblings, Hannah and Hailey … majoring in physical education with a minor in coaching … both Hope and her sister Hailey were on the UNI softball team in 2015.
