2021 OUTDOOR: Placed second with a personal-best throw of 53.91m in the discus at the Illinois State Invitational (April 30 - May 1) … Recorded a personal-best mark of 60.93m to place third in the hammer throw, posted a mark of 51.24m to place fourth in the discus, and notched a toss of 16.73m to place sixth in the shot put at the South Dakota Tune-Up (May 7) … Took fourth with a toss of 60.56m in the hammer throw and placed fifth with a mark of 51.74m in the discus at the MVC Outdoor Championships (May 14-16) … Posted a mark of 51.04m in the discus at the NCAA West Preliminary Round (May 26-29) … Notched a third-place finish with a toss of 55.83m in the hammer throw at the Gibson Invitational (April 16-17) … Marked a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 15.74m at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 9-10).
2021 INDOOR: Placed fifth with a personal-best mark of 18.90m in the weight throw at the MVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 26-28) … Posted a personal-best toss of 17.05m in the shot put at the Iowa State Classic (Feb. 12-13) … Earned second-place finishes in the shot put and weight throw at the Wartburg Friday Night Lights Meet (Jan. 29) … Recorded a mark of 18.48m in the weight throw to place fourth at the Jack Jennett Invitational (Jan. 22).
2020 INDOOR: Placed second in the shot put and first in the weight throw at the Wartburg Meet (2/7)... Threw a personal best in shot put with a distance of 14.40m at the Iowa State Classic (2/14)… Recorded a personal best in weight throw with a mark of 17.62m at the Minnesota Cold Classic (2/21)… Competed in the weight throw at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/29).
HIGH SCHOOL: Cameron earned runner-up honors in the discus in 2018… He was a 2nd Team Elite All State and 2nd Team All State honoree… Two-time First Team All-Metro and First Team All-Conference honoree in 2018… In 2017, he received First Team All-Conference honors and qualified for state in the discus… Cameron qualified for the Iowa State Wrestling Meet in 2018… He earned All-District Honorable Mention honors and was a team captain of the football team in 2018.
