Appeared and started in 49 games … Batted .424 with 67 hits and 50 runs in 158 at-bats and 28 walks … Recorded a .639 slugging percentage with six home runs, two triples, and 12 doubles … Stole 15 bases on the season including a pair at Evansville (March 16) … Posted 69 putouts and 134 assists for a .962 fielding percentage … Finished first in the MVC in assists (134), assists per game (2.73), hits (67), and runs per game (1.02) and was fourth in the nation with 2.73 assists per game and 14th with 134 total assists … Batted in a season-high six runs against Murray State (March 12) and scored a season-high four runs at Illinois State (March 26).

2023: Second Team All-MVC ... MVC Honor Roll ... Appeared in and started all 51 games ... Notched a .312 batting average on 50 hits, including a team-leading 55 runs scored (tied for third most in a single UNI season), 13 doubles, two triples, a career-high six home runs, along with 25 walks and ten stolen bases ... Drew 18 hit by pitches (tied for second most in a single UNI season) ... Five games with multiple RBIs and ten multi-hit games, including a three hit performance in a 6-0 win over Sam Houston (March 12) ... Stole a season-high two bases at Tulsa (March 10) ... 52 putouts and 73 assists for a .954 fielding percentage.
2022: Appeared in and started 43 games... MVC Newcomer of the Week (March 29 / Apr. 19)... Ended the season with a .302 batting average, .460 slugging percentage, and a .382 on base percentage... Recorded 38 hits, 41 runs, nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, 14 walks, 23 RBIs, and six stolen bases... Grabbed 46 putouts for a .902 fielding percentage... Hit a season high three hits against Loyola Chicago (Apr. 9)... Scored a season high three runs against Bradley (May 7)... Grabbed a season high four putouts against Bellarmine (March 3).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2021 graduate of Louisa-Muscatine high school, a four sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, track, and softball, Softball Player of the Year in 2019 and 2021, 1st-team All-State from 2018-2021, 1st-team All-Conference in 2018 and 2020, State Champion in 2018, State Runner-Up in 2019, Conference Champion from 2017-2021, Second in the state in batting average in 2021 (.630), Honor Roll from 2018-2021.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Luke and Sara Sanders... Has one sister, Hailey ... Majoring in movement and exercise science... Hobbies include fishing, riding four-wheelers, and hanging out with friends... Volunteers with wrestling meet concessions, cemetery clean up, football game clean up, and volleyball and basketball camps.
