2023: MVC Honor Roll ... Appeared in 19 games in her first collegiate season ... Batted .500 in six plate appearances with one double, three RBIs and two walks drawn ... Recorded her first collegiate hit and RBI at Murray State (March 17) in a 17-0 shutout ... Notched her first extra base hit against Drake (April 11) ... Posted nine assists defensively for a 1.000 field percentage.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bondurant-Farrar High School for four years... While with the Bluejays, Lappe was a three sport athlete in softball, basketball, and track and field... Lappe was a three-year softball captain while making First Team All-State and First-Team All-Conference in 2022 and 2021... During her time with Bluejay softball, Lappe set a school record for most home runs in a season (21) in 2021... Off the field Lappe was involved with the student council, including being the vice president her senior year... Lappe was also a member of the National Honor Society and FCA with a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.
PERSONAL: Lappe is the daughter of Jim and Kathy Lappe... she has one younger sibling, sister Elizabeth... Lappe's aunt and uncle both played at UNI in the early 1990s and late 1980s... Lappe is majoring in accounting while at UNI... also recruited by Minnesota State, Iowa State, South Dakota State, DMACC, and Indian Hills... off the field Lappe enjoys playing basketball, hanging with friends, and going to church.
