HIGH SCHOOL: Wharton was a member of Bellevue West High School's varsity team and a starter all 4 years ... Wharton led her team in three categories for 2 years in a row: points (18.4 and 14.8), steals (3.1 and 2.3), and assists (3.7 and 2.1) ... Wharton was named to the Class A All-State, the All-Metro first team, and the Super State second team in 2021 ...
