UNI Athletics introduces new student season ticket options

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI Athletics is making it easier than ever for college students to experience Panther athletics with the introduction of three new season ticket options designed to increase access, build lifelong fans and create an affordable way for more students to be part of the game-day atmosphere.

Full-time, fee paying UNI students will continue to have access to complimentary admission for each home athletic event.

Beginning with the 2026-27 athletics season, students will have access to the following new season ticket packages:

UNI Student Guest Season Ticket: This new option allows eligible full-time, fee paying UNI students to purchase one (1) additional "guest" season ticket package for a friend or family member of their choosing.

UNI Part-Time Student Season Ticket: Available for the first time, part-time and/or non-fee paying UNI students will now be able to purchase up to two (2) season ticket packages to attend UNI sporting events throughout the year at an affordable, discounted rate.

Non-UNI College Student Season Ticket: Panther fans who are students of other local, Iowa-based institutions such as Hawkeye Community College, Wartburg College and Upper Iowa University, etc. will now be able to purchase two (2) season ticket packages to attend UNI sporting events.

Each package is just $75 and includes the opportunity to claim tickets to all regular-season home football, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling competitions throughout the academic year. These packages exclude the "Dual in the Dome" wrestling event against Iowa on Dec. 11. Seats will be located within the student section at each respective venue, creating an energetic and unified game-day experience.

"Creating affordable entry points for young fans is an investment in the future of our department. By welcoming more students into our venues today, we're building lifelong connections with Panther Athletics while generating additional revenue streams that directly benefit UNI. These new ticket options remove barriers, create a vibrant student atmosphere and help cultivate the next generation of Panther fans."
