Scott Peace joined the UNI Athletics senior staff as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation in July 2024, continuing an extensive decade-plus career in NCAA Division I athletics.
Peace serves on the department’s Athletics Senior Leadership Team and oversees the Panthers’ athletic revenue generating apparatus, including marketing, ticketing and annual giving, which includes oversight of the Panther Scholarship Club (PSC). Additionally, he also manages UNI Athletics’ multimedia contractual services, serves as the department’s primary liaison with the university relations office, identifies and cultivates new revenue opportunities and manage the departmental external relations budget.
Peace came to UNI after serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement at Kent State University in Ohio, where he has oversaw marketing and fan promotional efforts for the Golden Flashes’ 19 varsity teams. He also provided leadership and support in KSU’s athletic ticketing office while also serving as the sport supervisor for the women’s soccer program.
Prior to his time at Kent State, Peace spent just shy of nine years in various roles at the University of Evansville in southern Indiana. Upon his arrival in 2014, he served as Director of Ticketing Services and Athletic Event Operations for two and a half years, managing ticketing operations for the Purple Aces’ seven ticketed sports teams. Under his leadership, he restructured and developed new ticketing plans and also oversaw ticket sales and distribution for Evansville men’s basketball’s 2015 run to the CIT Tournament championship.
Peace spent the next year and a half as Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations for the Purples Aces, utilizing Ticketmaster for both men’s and women’s basketball ticket sales and serving as sports supervisor for both men’s and women’s golf. In 2018, he took over as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement, leading marketing and promotional efforts while increasing attendance, revenue, fan and student engagement and enhancing the overall gameday atmosphere. Notably, Peace helped oversee the 15th largest national attendance increase for men’s basketball during the 2017-18 season, an effort that saw Evansville be honored by the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) with its “Best New Marketing Idea” award in 2019 for its “Century Club” season ticketing campaign.
Peace was again promoted by the Purple Aces in 2021 to Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs, continuing oversight of the department’s external units, including marketing and revenue generation, with the addition of sport oversight for men’s soccer and baseball. One year later, he was named Senior Associate Athletic Director of Development and External Operations, helping develop and manage a robust portfolio of donors to Evansville Athletics, with a minimum annual goal to raise $300,000 via personal major gifts to support Evansville sports teams. During this time, he also served one month as co-interim Director of Athletics for the Purple Aces.
Prior to arriving at Evansville, Peace worked as an Account Executive at the University of South Florida in Tampa with IMG Learfield Solutions. During his time on Florida’s west coast, he assisted in season ticket sales for USF football, men’s and women’s basketball, corporate packages, partial plans and group tickets.
Peace earned a bachelor’s degree in sport administration in May 2013 from the University of Louisville. During his time as undergraduate student, he worked as a ticket office intern for the Cardinals, helping raise $400,000 in new football season ticket revenue in 2013, as well as over $18,000 in season ticket sales during the 2012-13 women’s basketball season. Peace would later earn a master’s degree in public service administration from Evansville in 2018.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Peace is married to his wife, Sarah and has two sons, Rowan and Lucas.
