Eight UNI wrestlers, women’s golfers named to 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Five members of the UNI wrestling team and three Panther women's golfers were recognized by College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District Team at-large selections on Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In wrestling, Panther student-athletes Trever Anderson, Ryder Downey, Julian Farber, John Gunderson and Cael Rahnavardi were honored, while golfers, Addison Berg, McKenna Mallow and Greenlee Smock were also recognized.
Nomination criteria include holding a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or better, being a sophomore standing or higher both academically and athletically. Eligible wrestlers and golfers must have also been in the lineup for at least 75% of team scoring events during the season or competed at their conference championship event.
