Panthers set to host Western Illinois Saturday

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team returns home this weekend to host Western Illinois on Saturday, March 7. First serve is set for 1 p.m. CT in Waterloo.
The Panthers look to bounce back after a 5-2 loss against Milwaukee last weekend at the Black Hawk Tennis Center. UNI earned two singles victories in the match, highlighted by strong performances from Andrea Noa Galin and Abbie Peterson.
Peterson delivered a dominant showing at the No. 6 position, defeating Svava Schroeder in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. Noa Galin also picked up a point for UNI with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Jonoka Yamashita at No. 4 singles.
UNI will look to carry momentum into Saturday's matchup against Western Illinois as the Panthers continue their spring schedule.
