ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) released its weekly awards and Ayden Price was named the Newcomer of the Week.

After a career day against Eastern Washington, Price claimed the first Valley weekly honor of his career on Monday afternoon. The redshirt-sophomore out of West Des Moines, Iowa recorded 135 yards and a touchdown on six receptions including a 63-yard touchdown reception. Price is UNI's first Newcomer of the Week since 2022.

The Panthers are back in action on Saturday, September 20 in St. George, Utah as they match up with the Utah Tech Trailblazers at Greater Zion Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. CT with coverage available on ESPN+ and the Panther Sports Radio Network.
