UNI women’s basketball: 2024-25 MVC schedule released

The UNI women’s basketball team opens conference play on December 29 with a matchup at Indiana State.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The Missouri Valley Conference officially released the 20-game, 2024-25 women's basketball conference schedule on Thursday afternoon. Tip times and broadcast information will be made available at a later date.
The Panthers finished the 2023-24 season in fourth place and made it to the Hoops in the Heartland semifinals before falling in overtime to the eventual MVC Tournament Champion Drake Bulldogs.
The 2024-25 conference season tips off on December 29 at Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana, and spans all the way to March 13-16 for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Evansville, Indiana.
UNI women's basketball rings in the New Year with its first home games of 2025 on January 2 and 4 with matchups against Valparaiso and UIC respectively. Back-to-back road games at Illinois State and Bradley on January 10 and 12 highlight the Panthers' first trip to Illinois of the season before a pair of home matchups against Murray State and Belmont on January 16 and 18.
A three-game road stand on January 24, 26, and February 1 features matchups at Southern Illinois, Missouri State, and Drake before Bradley and Illinois State come to Cedar Falls on February 7 and 9.
The Panthers head Southeast for matchups at Belmont and Murray State on February 13 and 15 before heading home for a four-game homestand. The four-game stretch opens on February 20 with a McLeod matchup against Missouri State which is followed on February 22 against Southern Illinois, February 27 against Evansville, and March 1 against Drake.
UNI women's basketball hits the road to round out the conference regular season with matchups at UIC and Valparaiso on March 6 and 8.
The Panthers head to Evansville, Indiana for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament which will take place from March 13-16.
