Emerson Green to remain sidelined for remainder of the season

UNI guard Emerson Green will not return this season after suffering a season ending injury against Drake.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — UNI women's basketball has announced that an injury sustained by Emerson Green last Saturday against Drake has been deemed season ending. The guard averaged 10 points and 4.4 rebounds for the Panthers this season, while shooting 41.5% from the floor in 18 starts before her injury.
UNI returns to the court Thursday night in a rematch against Illinois State inside the McLeod Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
