UNI women's tennis at Omaha Duals
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- Andrijana Brkic will take her undefeated singles record with UNI women's tennis this weekend to the Omaha Duals.
The Panthers will compete one final time before the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Tournament next week in Springfield, Missouri. At the Omaha Duals, UNI will face the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Creighton and Missouri State.Â
UNI is coming off a strong showing two weeks ago at the Gopher Invite in Minneapolis. Brkic, who carries an 11-0 singles record this season into Omaha, will compete along with the sophomore duo of Darta Dalecka and Lorena Cardoso, who have notched 5 wins together this season. Every UNI doubles pairing recorded one win for the fall season.Â
"It was a great weekend and I'm looking forward to just improving," said head coach Chris Sagers. "Mentally I think everyone is doing pretty well."Â
