UNI men's basketball vs. South Florida
Â
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI wraps up its four game homestand on Monday night as the Panthers face the South Florida Bulls for the first time in non-conference action at the McLeod Center. The Panthers are 3-2 at home this season and 188-55 all-time inside the McLeod Center.
Â
Monday's game is only the second time UNI has faced an opponent from the American Athletic Conference (AAC) since its founding in 2013. The Panthers lone win over an AAC school came in 2017 in a 61-58 victory over SMU in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas.

The Panthers look to bounce back after a difficult loss to McNeese State last Friday night by a score of 52-49. UNI was held to a season-low 29.1% mark from the field with 18 turnovers, with the Cowboys capitalizing with 23 points of Panther giveaways. The Panthers exchanged control of the lead 14 times throughout the game, but struggled to find the bottom of the net in the final minutes.

Trey Campbell led UNI with a career-high of 17 points against McNeese State, shooting 5-of-12 from beyond the arc with 6 boards.
