UNI (1-5 / 0-2 Big 12) slipped out of the rankings this week but continues to receive votes for the NWCA top 25 as it faces just its third opponent not ranked in the top-15.

UNI is 9-0 against Northern Colorado in a series that dates back to 2006. UNI won the last dual 32-6 in their last meeting in 2020 at Northern Colorado.

The Bears (4-2 / 1-2 Big 12) had their last two duals postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. They had one place winner at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite and three find a place on the Southern Scuffle podium.

125 |Â No. 10 Brody Teske (6-2) or Kyle Gollhofer (1-5) vs. Jace Koelzer- Teske has two top-25 wins this year. His only two losses have been to Corey Cabanban of Iowa State and No. 5 Vitali Arujau of Cornell. Teske is one of six Panthers who qualified for last year's NCAA national championships.
- Gollhofer, a redshirt freshman, entered the dual lineup for the first time in his career last weekend against South Dakota State.
- Koelzer, a redshirt sophomore, was 8-8 last year and finished eighth at the Big 12 Championships.
133 |Â No. 31 Kyle Biscoglia (11-6) vs. Dyson Kunz
- Biscoglia is on a bonus-point streak. Nine of his 11 wins have been earned with bonus points. He has four falls already this year, putting his career total at 14. He has won his last three matches, notching two major decisions and his season-fastest career fall.
- Freshman Dyson Kunz is a two-time state champion out of Nebraska.

- Happel knocked off No. 12 Allan Hart of Missouri in his opening dual. He bumped up in the rankings from No. 31 last week.
- No. 8 Andrew Alirez has been in the lineup. He took second at the Cliff Keen Invite and was third at the Southern Scuffle. He is a two-time NCAA qualifier. He took fourth at the Big 12 championships as a freshman, but injuries plagued him in 2021 when he earned an at-large bid to the championships.
149 |Â Colin Realbuto (9-5) vs. Zeke Alirez
- Realbuto competed for Italy at the Senior World Championships in Oslo, Norway. He went 2-0 last weekend in extra bouts, earning wins at 149 pounds against Jaron Jensen of Wyoming and 157 pounds against Kenny O'Neil of South Dakota State.
- Chris Sandoval, who has been in the lineup earned his first spot on the Southern Scuffle podium with a fifth-place finish. He qualified for the 2019 NCAA championships and finished seventh at the Big 12s last season.
- Alirez went 5-4 last year as a redshirt freshman.
157 |Â Kaleb Olejniczak (5-8) vs. Nate Moore or Cody Eaton
- This will be Olejniczak's first dual appearance. He went 3-1 in extra matches last year with a win at 157 pounds in addition to two more at 149 pounds.
- Eaton is a freshman who went 0-2 last season competing in the USAFA Round Robin.
- Moore is a sophomore. He went 2-3 on the season last year.
165 |Â No. 20 Austin Yant (8-2) vs. Nick Knutson
- Yant is a 2021 NCAA qualifier. He took fifth at last year's Big 12 Championships and has placed at two open tournaments this season. He is coming off two dual wins, knocking off No. 26 Creighton Edsell of Penn State and Ricky Stamm of Hofstra. Yant sat out the last dual against South Dakota State.
- Knutson is s graduate student who went 4-5 last season. He saw limited action at 157 pounds as a junior in 2020.
174 |Â Pat Schoenfelder (10-7) or Dajun Johnson (3-11) vs. unknown
- Schoenfelder moved up from 165 pounds and already has a top-10 win with an 11-9 decision over No. 9 Peyton Mocco of Missouri. After taking second at the UNI Open, Schoenfelder dropped two duals to top-15 wrestlers but picked up a win over Ross McFarland of Hofstra. He is coming off a loss to No. 11 Cade DeVos of South Dakota State. Schoenfelder has faced five opponents in the top 15.
- Johnson has jumped in the dual lineup at 184 pounds three times this year, facing two top-10 wrestlers. After not competing last year, the freshman has gone 3-11 this season and took fourth at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.
- Damen Pape, a sophomore, has been in the lineup. He was named Northern Colorado's Rookie of the Year in 2021. He compiled a 2-6 record as a freshman.
184 |Â No. 4 Parker Keckeisen (12-1) vs. Xavier Vasquez
- Keckeisen was third at last year's NCAA championships. He is the highest-placing freshman UNI has had since 1952. He was the first redshirt freshman to place at nationals for the Panthers since 2017. He has notched bonus points in seven of his 12 matches this season. Keckeisen's only career losses are to top-ranked Aaron Brooks of Penn State. He's on a two-match win streak.
- Vasquez is a sophomore who went 3-3 last year.
197 |Â Noah Glaser (6-9) vs. No. 23 Alan Clothier (8-6)
- Over his UNI career, Glaser has appeared in the Panther lineup at 174 pounds, 184 pounds and now at 197 pounds. He won the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open earlier this year. Glaser sat out the last dual against South Dakota State.
- Clothier is the first Bear to become a four-time place winner at the Southern Scuffle. He reached the consolation semifinals before medically forfeiting to take sixth place. He is a two-time NCAA qualifier and earned the 2021 Most Improved Award on the team. He was fourth at last year's Big 12 Championships.

285 |Â Tyrell Gordon (9-8) vs. Robert Winters Jr. or Jacob Seely
- Gordon moved up from 197 pounds to wrestle in the heavyweight division this season. He competed as a true freshman for UNI before redshirting in 2020. He had his first top-20 win with a 4-2 decision over Hofstra's Zachary Knighton-Ward. He dropped a Big 12 dual to South Dakota State, but came back to win a match against Wyoming's Terren Swartz in a tiebreaker, 2-1.Â
- Gordon and Seeley met at 197 pounds in the 2019 season. Seeley, ranked 17th at the time, beat Gordon in his freshman season, 9-2.
- Seely rejoined the team at semester. He's a three-time NCAA qualifier. He was fourth at the Big 12 Championships at 197 pounds in 2020. He took a year off and returns as a graduate student.
- Winters went 1-1 on the year last year and was seventh at the Big 12 Championships in 2019.
