Panthers to Take on St. Ambrose Friday

THIS WEEK'S ACTION:

UNI vs. St. Ambrose - 4 p.m.

THE PANTHERS:

-For the first time in 14 years, the Panthers had a tie in their first game against a new opponent. UNI's 2OT tie against St. Thomas was the first tie to begin a series since 2007 against South Dakota.
- Panthers forward Ashely Harrington exploded for 4 shots at St. Thomas on Tuesday while having her lone shot in Sunday's game against Western Illinois go in for her second goal of the season.
- Panthers freshman midfielder Maddie Eastus found her offense this week getting on the box score in both games. Eastus put up 2 shots in both the St. Thomas and Western Illinois games with 3 of those 4 shots landing on goal.

THE FIGHTING BEES:

- With two games under their belts, the Fighting Bees have not allowed a goal on 7 shots between goalkeepers Rachel Willette and Molly McLaughlin.
- The Fighting Bees are currently 2nd in the NAIA for shutouts, having 2 shutouts in as many games.
