Women's Golf Wins Indiana State Spring Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Indiana- The UNI Panther women's golf team won its first tournament of the 2021 season at the Indiana State Spring Invite. The women shot a 297 on Monday for a two day total of 597. UNI beat Green Bay in second by five strokes and Butler by seven.

The Panthers had three top ten finishers including, first place Hannah Bermel, who secured her third collegiate win. Following Bermel was Emily Snelling who placed sixth, with a two day total of 150 and then in eigth place was Allison Nuss who carded a 151 over the tournament. Sydney Eaton finished with a 76 to place 12th and Hailey Bemel had a two day total of 161.

Both the men and women have their next tournament April 10-11 in Cedar Falls, Iowa at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course.
