Isley, Runyon Earn At-Large Bids

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI wrestlers Carter Isley and Lance Runyon have earned at-large bids into the NCAA Wrestling National Championship, joining Brody Teske, Parker Keckeisen, Austin Yant and Triston Lara who earned automatic bids at the Big 12 Championship.
Isley is 9-5 on the season with four wins over ranked opponents. He started the season 6-0 and three of his five losses came in sudden-victory.
Runyon is 6-5 on the season and was ranked for most of the season. He opened the season with a 5-1 record but has struggled with an injury. He was injured in his quarterfinal match at the Big 12 Championship and sat out the remainder of the tournament.
The Panthers will learn their spot on the bracket tomorrow during the 2021 NCAA Wrestling Selection Show. The show will be streamed on NCAA.com at 5 p.m. CT.
