Panthers Fall in Eatson T-Town Showdown

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – UNI Softball finished 0-2 on day two of the Easton T-Town
Showdown, falling to Alabama 5-3 in game one and also falling to Alabama 8-0 in game
two.
Game 1 | Alabama 5, UNI 3
The Panthers scored three runs on three hits and left five on base. In the circle, Erica Oler and Hailey Sanders contributed. Oler went five innings giving up
six hits, five runs, three earned and struck out two. Sanders threw one inning striking out one and giving up zero walks. Erica Oler (0-2) picked up the loss.
On the offensive side the Panthers found a spark from Senior Sammey Bunch, who
went 1-4 with one home run, one run, and two RBI's. Emmy Wells and Daryn
Lamprecht both recorded a double. Sammy Moss also scored one run.
Game 2 | Alabama 8, UNI 0
On offense two Panther batters recorded one hit. Including, Taylor Hogan and Sammey
Bunch with a double.
Sophomore Kailyn Packard (4-2) started things off for the Panthers in the circle.Packard threw four innings with two strikeouts and only one walk. The Sophomore gave up six hits and three earned runs. Hailey Sanders came in to pitch 2/3 of an inning, giving up two hits, three walks, and five earned runs.
The Panthers had a total of two hits four and no errors in game two of the
Easton T-Town Showdown Saturday afternoon.

at 10:30 A.M. CT against Kent State.
