Panther Golf Finishes Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

SEVIERVILLE, Tennessee - The UNI men and women's golf teams finished the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate with the women placing 5th with a three day total of 937 while the men placing 11th with a three day total of 889.
Leader for the women's team was Hannah Bermel who was T13 overall and had a three day score of 230. Tied for 22nd was Hailey Bermel and Sydney Eaton with a 937. Bermel recorded a team low 74 and following her was Sydney Eaton with a 79. Emily Snelling and Hailey Bermel shoot an 80. Allison Nuss followed them by carding an 82 on the day.
The leader of the men's team from the past three days is Griffin Parker with a total of 210 and Carter Stochl finished with with a 220. Parker finished day with the team's low round of 68 and placed fourth overall. Stochl carded a 72 while Tommy Doyle and Jack Moody each carded an 80.
The men's golf team will play in Springfield, Missouri March 22-23 while the women will play their next tournament on March 30th in Carbondale, Illinois in the Southern Illinois tournament.
