THE PANTHERS:
 •The Panthers hold a 55-2 overall record against the Purple Aces.
• Freshman setter Tayler Alden has been impressive in her first season in the Panther uniform, averaging 8.11 assists per set while adding 27 kills in the first five matches.
•Junior Carly Spies recorded 11 total blocks in two matches against Drake and #25 Marquette last weekend.
• Freshman setter Tayler Alden is the first true freshman to start at setter for the Panthers since Kara Galer in 1992.

THE PURPLE ACES:
• UE is coming off of a 2019 campaign that saw the team go 16-14 on the way to its first MVC Championship berth since 2008.
• The Aces picked up a 6th place finish in the league and put up a resilient effort against Illinois State in the opening round of the tournament in November of 2019 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
• Allana McInnis is the lone senior on the UE squad and has been one of the top setters in program history. She has a total of 3,065 assists in her college career, which ranks fourth in the UE record books.
• Melanie Feliciano increased her kill number in each of the first three matches of the 2021 season as she went from 11 kills in the opener to 15 in the rematch versus ISU and 17 in the win over the Billikens.
• Feliciano's average of 3.27 kills through four matches is 8th in the MVC while her .234 hitting percentage is 9th-best
