UNI Prepares for Second Non-conference Match Up

UNI meets Iowa State in the middle of their season. UNI holds a 0-0-1 overall record, while the Cyclones stand at a 2-6-1 record overall.

The Panthers meet the Cyclones for the 13th time in program history.

The Panthers Quick Notes:

• The Panthers started the season with a tie against Valparaiso after two overtime periods.

• Newcomer Caitlin Richards started at goalkeeper and played the entire 110 minutes against Valparaiso.

• UNI has been named 5th in the preseason coaches' poll.

• Sophomore Lizzie Mewes has been named to the preseason All-MVC Honorable Mention Team.

• UNI received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in September of 2020 for the 2019 season.

• Lizzie Mewes returns for her sophomore year after receiving All-Freshman recognition for the 2019 season.

• UNI women's soccer received the Academic Progress Rate Public Recognition Award for the 2018-2019 academic year.

• The Panthers welcome ten newcomers to the team, consisting of five freshman, four sophomores and one junior.
