The Panthers:
•Sammey Bunch is now the all-time home run leader in a career at UNI with 32 and counting.
•Sammey Bunch finished the Doc Halverson Classic with 3 home runs, 2 triples, and 3 base knocks to go with 6 RBI's, while holding a .381 batting average.
• The Panthers went 3-3 in the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic to open the season Feb. 7-9
.
• The Panthers were selected to finish 2nd in the MVC according to the MVC PreseasonÂ
Coaches Poll. UNI received 4 first place votes but trailed Drake in the voting 89-87.
•Three Panthers landed on the Preseason All-MVC Team in Seniors Sammey Bunch, Jaclyn Spencer,and Adara Opiola.
• Sammey Bunch has been named to the 2020 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List.
