MVC Women's Schedule Released

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference announced an adjusted women's basketball schedule Friday. The schedule will include series weekends where a visiting team plays two games in back-to-back games against a home opponent. The teams will play a home-and-home series against their travel partners.
The Panthers hosts series against Missouri State, Illinois State, Evansville and Loyola while playing Valparaiso, Indiana State, Bradley and Southern Illinois on the road. UNI and Drake will play a home-and-home series.
The Panthers open the conference season with back-to-back home games against MVC favorite Missouri State on Jan. 1-2.
UNI then hits the road to face Valparaiso on Jan. 7-8. The Panthers host Illinois State on Jan. 15-16 before traveling to Indiana State on Jan. 22-23.
The Panthers travel to Drake on Jan. 27 on the first leg of the home-and-home.
UNI welcomes Evansville to the McLeod Center on Feb. 4-5 before traveling to Bradley for games on Feb. 12-13.
UNI hosts three consecutive games, hosting Loyola on Feb. 19-20 before welcoming Drake on Feb. 24 for senior day.
The Panthers close the regular season with a trip to Southern Illinois on March 5-6.
Hoops in the Heartland remains scheduled for March 11-14 at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Ill.
