THE SERIES
The Panthers and Ramblers meet for the 20th time in program history on Sunday afternoon. The Panthers hold a 10-9 record against the Ramblers but have lost four games in a row in the series. The Panthers dropped both games against Loyola a season ago, falling 60-61 on the road and 55-56 in the McLeod Center. Head coach Ben Jacobson in 6-9 against Loyola, holding a 4-3 record in the McLeod Center. Jacobson is 1-6 on the road and has a 1-0 mark in neutral site games.

THE PANTHERS
•The Panthers are a perfect 10-0 inside the McLeod Center this season. The Panthers have finished undefeated in the McLeod Center twice, the 2009-10 and the 2014-15 seasons.
• The Panthers are now 57-6 when scoring 80+ points under Ben Jacobson, and are 8-0 in contest scoring over 80 points this season.
• AJ Green made 44 consecutive free throws (12/22/19-1/22/20), breaking the UNI record of 32 straight set by Bill McCoy. Green's 44 consecutive made free throws is tied 6th best in MVC history.
•UNI averages 75.3 PPG in Valley play, leading the league in scoring through seven games.
• The Panthers (.404) and Ramblers (.408) have the two highest three point field goal percentages in the Valley while the Panthers have made a league high 63 three pointers in league play.
• AJ Green averages 24.4 PPG in league play, leading the MVC in scoring.
•Austin Phyfe leads the league with 8.9 RPG, followed closely by Loyola's Cameron Krutwig with 8.3 RPG.
• Phyfe has recorded a league best .649 field goal percentage.
•AJ Green leads the league in 3-PT FG% (.475) and 3FG/G (4.0).

THE RAMBLERS
• Winning on the road is a tall task in The Valley, but since the start of the 2017-18 season, Loyola is 13-8 (.619) away from home in conference competition.
• Loyola's 6-1 start to MVC play is its best through seven games since joining the league for the 2013-14 campaign. It is also the program's best seven-game start to conference play, regardless of league affiliation, since going 6-1 to open Horizon League action in 2001-02.
• The Ramblers, who are shooting a staggering 59.7 percent (108-for-181) from the field and 44.4 percent (88-for-198) from three-point range in the last four games and are ranked second in the nation in field goal percentage (.519) through games of January 22.
• Over the last four outings, the Ramblers have clamped down on the defensive end, allowing only 49.3 ppg. One of the nation's top defensive teams in terms of scoring defense in each of the previous two seasons, Loyola currently ranks 12th in NCAA Division I play in that category at 60.2 points per game.
•  Loyola shot a blistering 67.4 percent (31-for-46) from the field, 66.7 percent (8-for-12) from three-point range, and used a suffocating defensive effort to blow past Indiana State, 75-55, Wednesday night at Gentile Arena in Chicago.  Tate Hall matched a season high with 23 points and Cameron Krutwig fell an assist shy of his second triple-double of the year (13 pts, 12 reb, 9 ast) for the Ramblers.
