UNI Wrestling meets Air Force Sunday afternoon in Colorado Springs. The Panthers enter Sunday with a 3-3 dual record after a dominant 32-6 win over Northern Colorado Friday in Greeley.

• Jay Schwarm (125), Michael Blockhus (141), Max Thomsen (149), Bryce Steiert (174), Taylor Lujan (184), and Carter Isley (285) are all ranked in the in their weight classes in various polls. Michael Blockus (141) and Carter Isley (285) jumped into the rankings after a strong showing at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite.

• Air Force enters the weekend with a 2-2 dual record with both wins coming against Division II teams. Head Coach Sam Barber has a 37-33 career record. The Panthers defeated Air Force 29-9 a season ago in West Gym.

• Taylor Lujan and Bryce Steiert both have Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honors. Lujan was named the Big-12 Wrestler of the Week after winning Midlands and picking an MD in the Utah Valley Dual. It is the four of his career and the second on the season for UNI. He earned his 100th win last Friday against South Dakota State. Steiert earned Big-12 Wrestler of the Week honors after taking second at the Cliff Keen Invite.

• Lujan and Bryce Steiert are both 19-2 on the season. Three Panther Wrestlers are 14-6 on the year.

• Jay Schwarm picked up his 10th pin on the season and his 44th career pin Friday at Northern Colorado.

• UNI finished second at the Midlands for the second season in a row. Taylor Lujan became the ninth Midlands Champion for the Panthers and four UNI wrestlers placed at the meet.

• Six Panthers earned individual titles at the Harold Nichols Open. UNI finished fourth at the Cliff Keen Invite after six Panthers placed, including a second-place finish for Steiert.
