CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI women's soccer team defeated the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees 6-0 at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
UNI's Sydney Hayden put the Panthers on the board first with a goal in the 11th minute of play. Hayden found the net from a cross from Olivia Stearns, Hayden's goal was the second of the season. Jordyn Rolli found the first for two goals on the night in the 18th minute of play and Jamie Althiser added her second goal of the season in the 30th minute of play.
The Panthers jumped right out in the second half and added a goal in the 52nd minutes with Lizzie Mewes found the back of the net after a double assists from Sydney Hayden and Jamie Althiser. Just eight minutes later Olivia Stearns found the back of the net unassisted. Jordyn Rolli added her second goal of the night and the teams sixth in the 69th minute, Johnnie Hill recorded the assist on the play.

The Panthers will get back to action on Friday, September 6 when they travel to Vermillion, South Dakota to take on the University of South Dakota.
