Men's Basketball Releases 2019-20 Schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI men's basketball announced the 2019-20 schedule Tuesday. Along with the nine MVC contest at the McLeod Center, the Panthers will play seven non-conference games on their home floor.
The Panthers' host Old Dominion on November 5 in the home opener and then travel to DeKallb, Illinois for a Saturday matchup with Northern Illinois on Nov. 9.
The Panthers will be back in the McLeod Center for four straight games beginning with Cal State Bakersfield on November 13, Northern Colorado on November 16, UT Martin on November 19 and hosting Cornell on November 20.
Following the four-game home stand the Panthers play two games in Cancun, opening with West Virginia on November 26 and either Wichita State or South Carolina on November 27.
After returning home, the Panthers host Luther College on December 2 before traveling to Boulder, Colorado for a game with Colorado on December 10. The Panthers will then travel to Grand Canyon on December 12 and wrap up the non-conference schedule with Marshall in the McLeod Center on December 22.
Following the holiday break, the Panthers open Missouri Valley Conference play with the Redbirds of Illinois State on December 31 and then host Bradley and Indiana State on January 4 and January 7. The Panthers then hit the road for a Saturday matchup with Missouri State on January 11 before returning to the McLeod Center to take on Valparaiso on January 15.
The Panthers play back-to-back road contest January 18 and 22 taking on Bradley and Southern Illinois. UNI returns home for the final week on January, hosting Loyola and Missouri State January 26 and 29.
February opens with a back-to-back road contests, Evansville on February 1 and Valparaiso on February 5. The Panthers then host in-state rival Drake on February 8 before welcoming Illinois State on February 12. UNI will be on the road February 15 and 20 taking on Loyola and Indiana State.
Fans get their last chance to watch the Panthers in the McLeod Center on February 23 and 26 when Southern Illinois and Evansville come to town. The final MVC road game of the season sees the Panthers travel to Des Moines to take on the Bulldogs of Drake on February 29.
The MVC Tournament takes over the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis from March 5-8.
