UNI Women's Tennis Competes at the Gopher Invite

MINNEAPOLIS - UNI Women's Tennis team competed at the Gopher Invitational Friday, Sept. 20 at Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis. The Gopher Invitational continues Saturday, Sept 21 at 9:00 a.m. starting with doubles, followed by singles.

Valentino Caro led the way in singles action with a 6-4, 6-4 in the first round of Singles Draw G.

In doubles action, Madeline Doherty and Kim Zizek won their first match against Milwaukee a team 7-6 7-4. Before falling to Green Bay in the second round 6-3. The doubles tournament will start over tomorrow.

The tournament continues Saturday before closing out Sunday.
