
Jackson Named CoSIDA Academic All-American

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Senior Alex Jackson was named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Cross Country/Track & Field Team for the second consecutive season, becoming the fourth UNI Track & Field athlete to receive the honor multiple times.
He was previously named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team in 2017-18.
Maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average, Jackson earned a spot on the First Team. His Panther career concluded at the outdoor Missouri Valley Conference Championships with a sixth place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as well as competing in the 5,000-meters. He won the 3,000 steeplechase at the Musco Twilight and finished 11th at the Drake Relays with a personal-best of 9:11.41.
Jackson is a biology major.
