UNI Men's Golf Finish Day One at MVC Championship

SUNRISE BEACH, Missouri - UNI men's golf wraps up day one at MVC Championships.

The UNI men's golf team finished their first two rounds at the MVC Championship in eighth place.

The Panthers are led by Tommy Doyle who is currently tied for 12th place. Doyle shot a 73 in the first round and 76 in the second round.

Following Doyle, are teammates Sam Sacquitne and Parker Oleson. Sacquitne is tied for 21st and shot a 77 in both rounds today.

Oleson is tied for 32nd while shooting 77 in the first round and 80 in the second round.

Illinois State's David Rauer is currently in first place overall after day one. Rauer shot three under after today's 36 holes.

The Panthers finish their final round of the MVC Championship tomorrow with tee times starting at 8 a.m.
