• The Panthers move to 10-15 on the season at 5-7 in the MVC after falling to Drake on the road on Saturday.

• AJ Green made nine field goals in back to back games last week. Green went 9-20 for 19 points against the Bulldogs of Drake on Saturday. The dynamic freshman recorded a team-high five assists. Justin Dahl recorded a season and career-high three blocks in the in-state rivalry.

• Redshirt senior Wyatt Lohaus surpassed 750 points in his career against Drake, needing only one point, Lohaus ended with 16 and currently stands at 765 career points.

• Four Panthers rank in the top 20 in made three-pointers per game in the MVC. AJ Green ranks 7th (2.1), Spencer Haldeman ranks 9th (1.8), Trae Berhow ranks 14th (1.6), and Wyatt Lohaus ranks 16th (1.5).

• The Redbirds are 14-11 overall and 7-5 in the MVC sitting in 3rd place behind Loyola and Drake.

• Illinois State has dropped back to back games in Valley play, falling to Valparaiso at home and Missouri State in a road contest.

• The Redbirds are led by one of the most dynamic players in the league in senior Milik Yarbrough.

• Yarbrough leads the Redbirds in scoring and rebounding, ranking third in the league with 16.4 points per game and 7th with 6.5 rebounds per game.

• Yarbrough finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and a block in the first matchup with the Panthers on Jan 8.

• Phil Fayne averages 15.2 points per game this season and leads all Redbirds with 24 steals. The senior forward has started all 25 games for the Redbirds and leads the team with 71 offensive rebounds and 33 blocks.

• Dan Muller, the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year, has proven his ability to win an MVC championship. Muller has led the Redbirds to a share of the MVC regular-season title (2017), which was the program's first since he helped ISU win the Valley championship as a player in 1998, and has led the program to three MVC Tournament Championship Game appearances.

• Muller was named the 19th men's basketball coach in school history May 8, 2012, and since then, he has led Illinois State to a better MVC record and higher conference finish each year.

• In 2016-17, Muller guided the Redbirds to program bests in MVC wins (17-1, en route to the Valley title), regular-season victories (25) and overall triumphs (28).

•Through his first six seasons, Muller amassed a 122-80 record and coached the Redbirds to four victories over Top-25 programs, three postseason appearances (2017 National Invitation Tournament, 2015 NIT and 2014 College Basketball Invitational), four postseason wins, and victories against the Big Ten, the BIG EAST, the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and the American Athletic Conference.

• Muller is the first coach in Illinois State basketball history to beat four Top-25 teams in his first four seasons.

The last time UNI failed to make a 3-point basket came Feb. 3, 2000, vs. Southern Illinois in a 72-58 Panther victory in the UNI-Dome.
