
UNI Women's Basketball Travels to Creighton

UNI travels to Omaha to face Creighton Sunday before playing Omaha Tuesday. UNI enters the weekend with a 5-2 record after falling twice at the South Point Shootout in Las Vegas. They face a Creighton team that is 6-2 on the year with wins over Nebraska, No. 23 West Virginia and Temple. The former MVC conference rivals have played 56 times.Â
• The Bluejays will look to rebound after a 72-65 road loss to South Dakota Wednesday. The loss broke up a four-game win streak that saw Crieghton win two games at the Cancun Challenge. Four Bluejays average double figures, led by Jaylyn Agnew with 19.0 points per game.Â
• In the Panthers' last game, Kam Finley scored a game-high 16 points, but was the only Panther in double figures as Ohio State dominated the Paint and held off a late UNI charge to earn the 64-46 win in the final game of the South Point Shootout in Las Vegas.Â
• Kam Finley leads the Panthers with 12.6 points per game. Karli Rucker is second on the team with 11.4 PPG and Megan Maahs is third on the team at 10.4 PPG. Bre Gunnels leads with 6.4 rebounds per game and Maahs is averaging 5.0 RPG.Â

Despite the success of the program in recent years, she remains in the top-10 with 1,566 career points, including a career-high 560 her junior year. • UNI returns 2018-19 First-Team All-MVC honoree Karli Rucker and 2017-18 First-Team All-MVF honoree Megan Maahs to court. Maahs returns after missing most of the 2018-19 season with an injury.Â
• The Panthers are ranked fifth in the NCAA in free-throw percentage at 79.7%. UNI is also 12th in the NCAA with 9.6 Three-pointers made per game.Â
