Katie Taylor Named MVC Swimmer of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Missouri - UNI senior swimmer Katie Taylor was named Missouri Valley Conference swimmer of the week announced Tuesday afternoon.
Katie Taylor competed against two Big Ten teams in Iowa and Michigan State in Iowa City over the weekend. Taylor won three events on Friday including 100 back (55.87), 200 back (1:59.81), and 200 IM (2:04.45).
Taylor is a returning All-MVC swimmer for the Panthers, including five individual MVC titles last season.
The Panthers will be back in action this Saturday as they face Nebraska at home.
