Athletic Department Announces Men's Basketball Attendance Incentive
10/29/2019 3:28:00 PM | General, Men's Basketball
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI athletic department is excited to launch a new attendance initiative for the 2019-20 men's basketball season. Season ticket holders that hit certain attendance percentages at UNI home games will earn Panther Points which were established in 2017.
Panther Points are intended to promote fairness, generate support for Panther Scholarship Club (PSC) members and reward giving. This system also provides an incentive for beginning, renewing and increasing participation as an athletics donor and season ticket holder. Panther Points allows for the objective allocation of benefits that exist in limited quantities, such as: season ticket location, away game ticket allocations, and distribution of tickets to postseason events.
The attendance incentive program officially begins at the home opener on Tuesday, November 5 against Old Dominion.
Levels and Rewards:
75% Attendance (12 out of 16 games) = 20 Panther Points
87% Attendance (14 out of 16 games) = 30 Panther Points
100% Attendance = 40 Panther Points
Percentage will be based on the total number of tickets a season ticket holder has, then divided by the number of games. As long as your tickets are scanned and used by someone at the game, you will remain eligible for receiving attendance rewards.
If you cannot make it to a game, you can give your tickets to a friend. You can call the ticket office at 319-273-4848 to have your seats reprinted for any number of games and the tickets can be left at will call for someone else to pick up.
