COLORADO SPRINGS, Co.--The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has honored 713 teams from 460 institutions to the Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2018 semester.

The University of Northern Iowa swimming and diving team posted a 3.51 cumulative GPA for the fall semester to earn the honor for a second time

The teams were selected based on their fall grade point averages and represent over 16,000 student-athletes. To earn this honor, teams must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA and have a roster of 12 or more student-athletes. Thirty-three teams achieved Scholar All-America status for the first time, reflecting the continued growth of college swimming and diving.

Liberty University had the highest GPA of the women's teams, earning a 3.79 average GPA.
