BROOKINGS, S.D.—Marisa Schulz scored the game-winning goal for the Jackrabbits of South Dakota after the ball deflected off her hip. The Jackrabbits shut out UNI, 1-0.

Jami Reichenberger defended against 19 South Dakota State shots, with 10 shots being on goal.

Hannah McDevitt led the Panthers in shot attempts (3) and shots on goal (2). Sydney Hayden was second in shots, with two attempts. The Panthers combined for a team total of 11 shots, with 6 shots on goal.

"It was a tale of two halves tonight," said head coach Bruce Erickson. "It took too long for us to get into the rhythm of the game and SDSU was better in all phases. Our second half was much better, but we had dug ourselves a hole early on."
