CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The UNI women's soccer team will travel to South Dakota State and North Dakota State this weekend.

The Panthers will meet South Dakota State (3-3) at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 in Brookings, South Dakota. The Jackrabbits lost their first two games of the season before winning three straight. They are coming off a lost to Creighton, which snapped an 11-match home unbeaten streak for the Jackrabbits, dating back to the 2017 home opener.
Last season, the Panthers won at home against the Jackrabbits, 1-0. The Panthers won last year at home, 1-0. South Dakota State leads the all-time series with Northern Iowa, 7-2-3, but dropped a 1-0 contest in Cedar Falls, Iowa last year. The Jackrabbits are 4-0-2 at home against UNI.

The Panthers will travel to North Dakota State (1-2) for a 1 p.m. game Sept. 9. NDSU returns 10 starters, including goalkeeper Monica Polgar, who ranked second in The Summit League with six shutouts. The Bison return 90 percent of its scoring from last season.Â

Kelsey Yarrow, Julianne Trizzino and Hannah McDevitt were named to the All-Tournament team of the Iowa Invite last weekend.

The Panthers were victorious in overtime against Central Michigan Sept. 2. Jordyn Rolli scored in the 98th minute to secure the Panther 2-1 win. Kelsey Yarrow tied the game late in the second half to send the game to overtime. ÂÂ
