WATERLOO, Iowa—Madison Kimball and Jenna Szczesny teamed up for all four of Loyola Chicago's goals against a Panther squad. The Ramblers of Loyola would win the match 4-2.

Szczesny got on the board first off of a penalty kick in the 20th minute after the penalty was called on Jami Reichenberger of UNI.

UNI's Kelsey Yarrow evened the playing field in the 29th minute, earning her second goal this season.
Â
Madison Kimball would have the last two goals of the first half, scoring in the 32nd and 42nd minutes of the match.

Szczesny would score first after the break, earning her fifth goal this season, off an assist from Aleksa Tataryn.
Â
Yarrow would be in action on the next Panther goal, assisting Brynell Yount on her first goal this season.

"They came out to play and were a strong offensive team," said Yarrow. "They finished the chances they had at the end of the day. It was nice to get the equalizer early."

The Ramblers led in all of the statistics columns, with 11 shots, 6 shots on goal, 2 assists, and 5 saves. The Panthers had 9 shots, 7 shots on goal, 1 assist and 2 saves in the loss. Yarrow led the Panthers with 5 shots.

"Both teams had plenty of chances and efficient in getting near the goal," said head coach Bruce Erickson. "We struggled with tracking their runners in the box."

Loyola's victory today snapped UNI's unbeaten record at home since last season. The win was the first for Loyola during the regular season in Waterloo.

The Panthers will remain at home for their next two matches. Conference play continues on Sept. 29 as Missouri State comes to town for a 1 pm kickoff. The Panthers will host Viterbo on Oct. 1 for a 6 pm match.
