CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will be in action at home this weekend, hosting Missouri State and Viterbo.

Missouri State comes to town looking for their first conference win of the season, after losing to Illinois State in the conference opener. The Panthers and Bears will face off at 1 pm on Sept. 29 at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.

The Bears and Panthers last met in the MVC Championship match, where Missouri State got an early goal to win the game. The Bears hold a 20-4 advantage in the series.

The Viterbo V-Hawks will face off against the Panthers at 6 pm on Oct. 1. This is a rescheduled game from August due to rain. The V-Hawks hold a 5-5 record on the season, with a 1-4 record on the road. The Panthers hold a 2-0 series record on the V-Hawks, winning in last years match 3-0.

Panthers Notes
- Multiple streaks were broken for the UNI team in their loss to Loyola on Sunday. It was the first time this season that the Panthers had scored in the first half, when Kelsey Yarrow scored in the 29th minute. It was also the first time that the Panthers had lost at home since last season and the first loss to Loyola during the regular season at home.Â
- UNI will be at home for 5 of their last 8 regular season matches, including being home back-to-back this weekend as Missouri State and Viterbo come to the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
- UNI's loss to Loyola was the first match this season where UNI has not had a corner kick. UNI has had 38 corner kicks this season.
- UNI leads the conference in goals allowed at 1.10 per game
Bears Notes
- Jordan Eickelman leads the Bears with 3 goal scored this season, making an appearance in every match
- Goalkeeper Kaitlin Maxwell tallied a double-digit save count for the second time this season, collecting 10 against Illinois State last weekend. She ranks third nationally in total saves with 73.
- Jacqueline Baetz sits in a five-way tie for third for assists in the conference standings.
- Â The Bears' victory over Kansas State marked Missouri State's fourth shut-out of the season, ranking them 25th in the nation for shutouts
-  Four different players – Jordan Eickelman, Kennady Orlick, Emma Skornia, and Olina Einarsdottir have scored multiple goals this year for Missouri State
V-Hawk Notes
- Viterbo has had a strong start to the season at home, opening 4-1. The road trips have not been as friendly for the V-Hawks, who post a 1-4 record on the road.
