UNI Takes 8th in Season-Opening Event in Utah

ST. GEORGE, Utah - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team closed out the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invite in eighth place on Tuesday, finishing above North Dakota.

The Panthers improved from yesterday's score of 317 after finishing with a score of 306 in round two, giving UNI a final team score of (623) at Sunbrook Golf Course.

Marshal Lamb, Sam DeBartolo and Parker Oleson each shot 4-over (76) on the day, earning Lamb sole possession of 31st place while DeBartolo and Oleson tied for 32nd and 39th.

Dayton Federley also claimed a share 39th place with Oleson after shooting 6-over (78) in his final 18 holes.

Jared Rowe finished 9-over (81) in both of his rounds, giving him a final score of (162) on the tournament.

NEXT: The Panthers will head to Dallas, Texas on March 12-14 for the ORU Spring Break Invitational.
