UNI Swimming and Diving Defeats Coe

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa— The UNI Swimming and Diving team defeated Coe this evening, 251-42.
Madison Rinaldi timed in at twenty-seven seconds and twenty-hundredths of a second in the 50 backstroke.
Katie Taylor would have three individual first-place finishes for the Panthers. Taylor timed in at 56.46 in the 100 butterfly, four seconds ahead of the competition. In the 100 breaststroke, Taylor swam a 1:06.06. Taylor swam a 57.60 in the 100 IM.
Jordan McCullough timed in at 4:49.22 in the 400 IM. McCullough was three seconds ahead of the competition in the 100 backstroke, swimming a 1:01.49.
In the 500 freestyle, Crystal Florman swam a 5:20.61 to lead all competitors.
Rachelle Houlette swam a 1:59.30 in the 200 freestyle.
Moriah Ross timed in at 30.21 in the 50 breaststroke.
Jenna Willer timed in at 25.23 in the 50 freestyle.
In the 100 freestyle, Kylie Engstrom led the competition with a time of 53.96.
Lauren Kacmarynski, Lauren Havertape, Taylor, and Abby Meyer took first in the 200 medley relay, timing in at 1:50.07. Meyer, McCullough, Ashleigh Houlette, and Sam Galvin timed in at 1:41.69 for first place in the 200 freestyle.
In the diving well, Jayden Lovell led all competitors with a dive score of 244.05 on the 1-meter boards. Alyssa Deuso dove a 242.77, while Madison Schoppe dove a 197.68. On the 3-meter boards, Deuso led the competition with a dive score of 228.30. Lovell dove a 220.27 on the boards. Schoppe rounded the Panthers out, diving a 207.89.
