UNI Swimming and Diving Set for Weekend Meets

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa— The UNI Swimming and Diving team returns to the action this weekend with meets against Iowa Central, Loras, and Iowa State.
The Tritons of Iowa Central and the Duhawks of Loras visit the Glen F. Henry pool on Jan. 11 at 6 pm. The Panthers swam to victories over both teams last season. Anika Lillegard-Bouton, Tina Meyer, Abby Meyer, and Katie Taylor had strong performances at the meet.
The Duhawks and Panthers each have posted victories against Coe this season.
The Panthers will travel to take on the Iowa State Cyclones on Jan. 12 for a 1 pm meet. The Panthers were defeated last season in Cedar Falls. Katie Taylor, Crystal Florman, Kelsey Ostrowski, and Jayden Lovell were strong performers for the Panthers, receiving top-3 finishes or personal bests.
The Panthers and Cyclones competed against each other at the Kansas Classic. Iowa State took second at the meet, while UNI took fourth. The Cyclones and Panthers have faced the same opponents this season in South Dakota, South Dakota State, Nebraska, and Omaha.
Last Time in Action
The Panthers were last in action on Dec. 7 against Coe. Jordan McCullough, Madison Rinaldi, Moriah Ross, and Alyssa Deuso had strong performances.
