Swim and Dive Returns Home for Coe

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa— After spending nearly two months away from the Glen F. Henry Pool, the UNI Swimming and Diving team returns as Coe visits on Dec. 7 at 6 pm.
The Panthers placed fourth at the Kansas Classic Invite as they broke eight school records. Katie Taylor broke the 100 and 200 backstrokes and the 200 and 400 IMs. Moriah Ross would break the 200 breaststroke. Crystal Florman would break the 100 freestyle. The trio of Panthers would team up with Abby Meyer to break the 200 and 400 medley relay records.
Ross and Taylor's times were NCAA B cut qualifying times. Taylor and Florman were named to the Kansas Classic All-Invite team.
Florman, Ross, and Taylor lead the Missouri Valley Conference in the 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 IM, and 400 IM races. As a team, the Panthers lead the times in all five relay events in the Valley.
Fans are encouraged to wear orange as the team partners with the UNI Dance Marathon.
