CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa signed three players to National Letters of Intent on the first day of the early signing period Wednesday. Among the signees is guard Cailyn Morgan, sister of UNI junior Mikaela Morgan and former Missouri Valley All-Conference honoree Jeremy Morgan. Also signing is forward Sara McCullough and forward Kaitlyn Winston.
"I am so excited about the addition of these three young ladies," head coach Tanya Warren said. "They all have had very successful high school careers and will fit in nicely with our returners. Cailyn will give us some depth on the perimeter and Sara and Kaitlin will bring us some much-needed depth inside. It's a great day to be a Panther!"

Cailyn Morgan • 5-11 • G • West HS • Iowa City, Iowa
Morgan was a member of the 2017-18 Iowa 5A State championship team at West. She scored 10 points in the championship game and was named to the All-Tournament team. Morgan was also on a state tournament team her sophomore season. Along with basketball, she is a letter-winner in volleyball and softball. She is active in her community and has been a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes since the 7th grade.

Kaitlin Winston • 5-11 • F • Farmington HS • Farmington, Minn.
Winston comes to UNI from Farmington, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. She has played high school basketball from the eighth grade on and earned honorable mention All-Conference honors her sophomore season. She was named a captain for her team for the upcoming season.

Sara McCullough • 5-11 • F • Akeny HS • Akeny, Iowa
McCullough brings a strong athletic and academic resume to the table for the Panthers. She averaged 16.2 points per game last year and earned Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Region Team honors. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, a Central Iowa Metro League All-Academic Team member and received her team's Academic Excellence Award.
The trio completes the recruiting class for the UNI. The Panthers began the season 1-1 and travel to Northern Illinois Sunday for the third and final game of the Preseason WNIT before hosting Creighton Tuesday.
