CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—After rain moved the last two home matches, the University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will finish their home slate, hosting Drake and Valparaiso.

The Bulldogs of Drake come to town for a match under the lights on Oct. 17. Kickoff is slated for 7 pm. The Bulldogs and Panthers spilt last season's matches, with the Panthers winning in the semifinal match, 2-0. The Panthers and Bulldogs have gone back-and-forth over the last five matches, with three ties and one win each.

The Crusaders and Panthers will face off at noon on Oct. 20 in a Homecoming and Senior Day celebration. The Crusaders and Panthers met last season, with the Panthers pulling away in overtime, 2-1.

Senior Day

Prior to the match on Saturday, the team will honor the eight seniors on the team: Jami Reichenberger, Julianne Trizzino, Kelsey Yarrow, Hannah McDevitt, Claire Netten, Meredith McManaman, Brynell Yount, and Morgan Teel.

Panthers Notes

The Panthers have scored 16 of their 25 goals in the second half this season, taking 104 shots as well.
Kelsey Yarrow leads UNI with 5 goals this season, including two game-winning goals. Jordyn Rolli, Brynell Yount and Sydney Hayden all have 3 goals for the Panthers this season.
UNI leads the conference in shutouts with 6.
Yarrow is third in the conference in shots per game at 2.53, having taken 38 this season
Jami Reichenberger leads the conference in save percentage at .856, allowing only 14 goals this season.

Bulldogs Notes

Drake is led by Olivia Bruce and Alison Walls, each with 3 goals this season. Walls leads the team in shots at 21.
Drake netminder, Kelsie Stone has faced 161 shots, with a .823 save percentage. Stone has made 65 saves this season.
Drake recorded their third shutout in the first four MVC matches, after drawing with Evansville.

Crusaders Notes

Valpo is led by Cory Griffith with 6 goals this season. Griffith leads the MVC in shots and shots per game.
Valpo netminder, Kezia Gesell has a .96 goals against average, with a save percentage of .822. Gesell has seen action in 8 games for the Crusaders.
Gesell is the current MVC Defensive Player of the Week, allowing only 1 goal in last weeks matches for Valpo.
