UNI Soccer Records Fifth Shutout of Season

LOVES PARK, Illinois—Kelsey Yarrow and the Panthers set the tone for this evening match against Viterbo, as Yarrow recorded her third goal of the season in the second minute. The Panthers would win 10-0.

Luck was not on Viterbo's side as goalie Abby Breitbach knocked the ball into the net in the 11th minute, after Brynell Yount and Sydney Hayden put offensive pressure on the ball.

Yount would connect with Sydney Hayden as Hayden scored her second goal of the season in the 21st minute. Â Hayden nabbed her third goal of the season in the 21st minute on a solo drive up the field.

The next six Panther goals would all be first goals of the season. Jamie Althiser put the next two points on the board in the 40th and 51st minutes. Haddie Carlson recorded the assist on Althiser's second goal before turning around and scoring on a pass from Althiser and Genevieve Cruz in the 56th minutes. Â

Izzy LaFollette would score in the 78th minute off a pass from Elyse Reagan. LaFollette and Clare Schooley would team in the 82nd minute, assisting Johnnie Hill with the score. Reagan would record her second assist of the season in the 89th minute, as Emma Rottinghaus would score the final Panther goal.

Goalkeeper Anna Kaiser got her first appearance as a Panther, recording three saves in 69 minutes of action. Kaiser and Jami Reichenberger will spilt the Panthers fifth shutout of the season on their records.
