Panthers Set for Home Matches

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team is back in action this weekend, hosting Missouri State and Wichita State.

The Missouri State Bears come to Byrnes Park in Waterloo on April 8th at 1 p.m.

The Wichita State Shockers, ranked #50 in the nation, visit the Panthers on April 9th at 10 a.m.

UNI's Jieke Stroobant is closing in on the top-10 UNI doubles' victories list. She is currently 68-52 heading into this weekend's matches.

If the weather is bad or too windy, the matches will be played at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.

Singles play propelled the Panthers over the Drake Bulldogs last week, 4-3. The last win for UNI against Drake came on April 3, 2011. Drake had won the last eight meetings since a UNI victory six years ago.
