UNI Prepares for Kansas Classic

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team will compete at the Kansas Classic this Friday through Sunday.Â
The Kansas Classic will take place in the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, Kansas. UNI will meet fellow MVC school, Little Rock-Arkansas, along with Iowa State, Kansas, North Texas and Nebraska-Omaha at the event.Â
At the event last season, the Panthers in the middle of the pack. The Panthers saw strong performances for Katie Taylor, Molly Lembezeder, Crystal Florman, Kylie Engstrom, Jordan McCullough and Rachel Siebenaller at the event last year.Â
This season, the Panthers are seeing strong races in the freestyles and backstrokes, while the freshman take on the distance races.Â
